Puppets​
​​
This activity is run with several focuses, mainly to promote reading, followed by The Care of Books, comprehension and reflection of literature, and environmental messages. The puppets help stimulate attention span and understanding by means of stories that are told in an simple manner, with music, colors and dancing, immediately creating an empathy among viewers and the small actors.
Lectura en voz alta

La lectura en voz alta es una estrategia de lectura, en la cual se lee a los niños un texto previamente seleccionado y cuidadosamente preparado. Este texto puede ser de ficción, cuento fábula, poesÃa, informativo, etc. Por lo general se elige un texto que posee un nivel más elevado que el nivel de lectura individual de los alumnos y que les serÃa un poco más difÃcil leer por si solos.
Reading Aloud

Reading aloud is a strategy of reading, in which a previously selected and carefully prepared text is read to the children. This text can be fictional, fairy tale, poetry, informative, etc.. Usually a text is chosen that has a higher level than the individual reading level of the students and that would be a little more difficult to be read by themselves.
Lectura en Silencio

La lectura silenciosa radica en que mejora el comportamiento lector en varias formas:
a) Permite que se lea una gran variedad de textos, de acuerdo a los intereses de los lectores.
b) Significa un esfuerzo menor que permite concentrarse en la comprensión.
c) Elimina tensiones al no haber juicio público de sus habilidades lectoras o de comprensión (como sà ocurre en la lectura oral pública).
d) Permite que el lector respete y adecue su lectura a sus propios ritmos.
e) Acostumbra al estudiante a utilizar la lectura como método de estudio.
Lectura en Silencio

Silent reading aims to improve the reading behavior in several ways:
a) It allows for the reading of a great variety of texts, according to the interests of readers.
b) A smaller effort permits concentrating more on the understanding.
c) Stress is removed by the absence of public judgement of the student’s reading skills or understanding (as happens in public oral reading).
d) It lets the reader respect and adjust their reading to their own rhythm.
e) The student gets accustomed to use reading as a method of studying.
Obras de Teatro
Las Obras de Teatro ayudan a los niños y niñas a imaginar y visualizar los diferentes temas que se abarcan en el proyecto. La presentación de cuentos e historias que promueven la lectura a través de estas obras, ayudan a que los niños y niñas se identifiquen con el mensaje.
Plays

The Plays help the children to imagine and visualize the different topics covered by the project. The presentation of tales and stories that promote reading through these plays also help the children to identify with the message.
Painting
​
​
After each reading the children apply their own imagination by shaping their ideas based on the book they read. Furthermore, they draw about their needs and wants in school and their community.
Pintura

Después de cada lectura los niños y niñas ponen en práctica su imaginación plasmando sus ideas en base al libro que leyeron. Además dibujan sobre sus necesidades y deseos en la escuela y comunidad
TÃteres
​
​Esta actividad está dirigida por varios enfoques, principalmente por la promoción de la lectura, seguido de El Cuido del Libro, reflexión literaria y mensajes ambientales. Los tÃteres ayudan a estimular la capacidad de atención y la comprensión mediante historias que son con contadas de manera sencilla, con música, con colores, con bailes creando inmediatamente una empatÃa entre los espectadores y los pequeños actores.
